The subdivision of your property into two or more lots is a fairly involved process carried out with your architect/designer, surveyor and local council. In preparation for your subdivision, we recommend that you get a title re-establishment survey and a site analysis or feature survey to use in your planning process for your development permit. Once you have a development permit, we can assist with the actual subdivision process.
Subdivision of a block involves the legal splitting of a parcel of land into multiple lots. A licensed surveyor will develop a plan of subdivision showing the boundaries of the new lots, which will be approved by council and lodged with the titles office.
